Twenty Years?! No Way!
I would love to see everyone in October.
After an adventurous, and pretty difficult period in my early twenties, I finally settled down and finished my degree at TTU, in Latin and English of all things! I then went on to get a Master's degree in Latin as well.
I then moved with my son to Corpus Christi to teach Latin and English at a high school there. I meet my husband, Luis, while living in Corpus. I also picked up two more Master's degrees. I am thinking of papering the spare room with them.
In 2001, I began working in higher education administration, and in 2004, we moved to my favorite city, New Orleans. We absolutely loved it there and settled in to what we thought would be our hometown forever. (The picture is from the Barkus Parade, the Doggie Mardi Gras Parade in the French Quarter.)
Well, you know the rest of that story. A little wind called Katrinha blew in, and we were forcibly relocated.
I am now living happily in Kansas City with my husband and son. I am the Director of Education for the online division of a local college, and life is grand.
Best to everyone! See you soon.
